Kora arrived here on April 14, 2009 at 12:04 am. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 18 3/4 in. long. Everything went so well, I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy. I went to the doctor at 12:45 on Monday and she confirmed that my water had broken and sent me to the hospital. After several hours I finally had some strong contractions and recieved some medicine which didn't really work, but made me very loopy...from laughing to sleeping to crying, I made it to a 4 and then had my epideral. It was amazing from there on. At about 11:15 I had started pushing and then 45 minutes later she was here. This is her at the hospital.
Steven is such a proud daddy. He has been fabulous the whole time and continues to be a great dad to Kora already. His favorite is when she peeks one eye open to see who is holding her.
She has the most precious little body!!
This was her 1st car trip home. She was so tiny in the car seat, I was not liking her being in there all by her self. lol
This is Kora Thursday at our house. She was wide awake and cute as a button.
Her sweet hands are so tiny!!
When I was burping her she put her head on her hands and posed for the camera.
After feeding time she finally started getting a lot of milk.
Her 1st bath in her little hoodie bath towel.
Her precious feet are her daddy's. My feet are pretty small but her long toes are just like steven's. I love them and want to kiss them all the time. She is the best blessing I have ever recieved since Steven and I got married. This experience has been the most rewarding thing I have ever encountered. God's plan is truly better than I could have ever imagined. Stay tuned for more pics weekly... I can't stop taking her picture!!!
