Here I am at getting home from my six month/24 weeks doctors visit. I'm not sure if you can tell (lol) but over my 4 christmas's with all our families my belly has finally arrived! I must say it has been exciting for people to notice that I am actually pregnant!
Last weekend we brought in the new year painting Kora's room a "dusty yellow," and I was able to find paint that was toxic/odor free, so I wouldn't hurt the baby. I was way excited because I truly thought I was going to cry painting her room, maybe it was my first mom-instict because I felt like there was nothing else in the world I would rather be doing.

Here is Steven painting the trim in the garage. The neighbor that helped me do the fabric, her husband helped steven hang the trim. " Neal and Laurie Brown for those of you that know who I am talking about. They are great friends and we are so lucky to have them as neighbors.

Here is room finally finished. If you look at the top you can see both the ceiling trim and inside that is the wedding cake ceiling trim. So beautiful, it turned out perfectly!!

My neighbor, Laurie and I finished the curtains or Kora's room.

This view shows the beading a lot better. Let me just tell you that these curtains weren't the easiest thing to make. Laurie will probably laugh at me for saying this but the knots on top and attaching the beading on a curved path was the worst, but it's even harder to try and explain what we did. LOL Needless to say, I personally will have to practice some more before I can make these curtains on my own. The rest of the bedding is coming along very nicely, hopefully I will get to work on it this weekend, during the week, my body does good to come home and cook dinner after work.

The glider we ordered came in and it is in Espresso and Cream colored cushions. The rest of the baby's stuff will be in Espresso as well, it's a really dark brown. It should be in by next week, we are hoping, we ordered a convertable crib that goes from a crib-to a toddler day bed- to a full size bed, a armour, and a dresser that is wide so I can use the top as a changing table.

My mom would be so impressed, I found some sturdy organizers that I placed in the closet for all her goodies, such as: hats, blankets, bows, socks/shoes, and books. I used the same scrapbook paper I used on her letters for her name and added some cute buttons.

These cute outfits were from my mom, she sent me a sweet care package with these, socks, a blanket, photo album, and basket organizer. I loved it all, but nothing is sweeter than baby girl clothes. It's so fun to imagine her in them and what she will look like. We go to the doctor again Feb. 2nd to get a 3D sonogram and we can't wait!!!
